ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PERSONS NETWORK IS A SOCIAL JUSTICE PLATFORM

ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PERSONS NETWORK was established in the year 2015 to address injustice, to serve as a Catalyst for the Voiceless, to address issues bothering on Fundamental Human rights violation perpetrated by both Government institutions and private institutions.
 
 ADVOCATES ACVPN is a Social Justice platform that comprises of both State Actors and Non State Actors leveraging on each other strengths to achieve a common goal in the best interest of children and Vulnerable Persons across Nigeria.
 
ADVOCATES ACVPN is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission CAC, Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, a member organization with International Human rights Protection Service  both Florida USA, and Nigeria Chapter FCT and Lagos State.
 
Advocates ACVPN partners such as Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation WAPA FCT and Lagos, NAPTIP, Nigeria Police Force both Force Head Quarters and all the 36 State Police Command across Nigeria.
Advocates ACVPN partners with the Nigeria Civil Defence, Immigration, all Para Military Organization across Nigeria, Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy, Ministry of Education, State Universal Basic Education SUBEB, Red Cross, Media Organizations both Electronic an Print media.
 
Advocates ACVPN also partners with the Religious group, Artisan, People living with Disability PLWD.
 
Advocates ACVPN right from it inception have handled over four thousands cases Bothering on Child Abuse cases such as DEFILEMENT, Physical ASSUALT, Children killed by their guardian, Neglect, Abandoned, trafficked Children, 
Advocates ACVPN has also handled over 500 Gender based Violence Cases GBV. We have handled Over a thousand Human Rights violation, Malicious Prosecution.
 
ADVOCATES ACVPN through both Federal and States Prosecuting Agencies had gotten over 20 convictions.

Co-founder/Chief-Operating-Officer

Tpl. Daisi Oso-General Manager Lagos State Planning and Environmental Monitoring Agency (LASPEMA) Town Planner Daisi Oso is a cross-functional professional and currently The General Manager of Lagos State Planning and Environmental Monitoring Agency (LASPEMA). He is an active and vibrant member of Nigeria Institute of Town Planners (NITP), Former Executive Member, NITP (Lagos State Chapter) and Graduate Member Nigeria Institute of Architects (NIA). He is a speaker and sustainability enthusiast, particularly sustainable urban planning-the developmental strategies and practices that ensure livable, self-sustaining communities over the long term. Over the years he has dedicated and devoted himself on how to address overarching 21st century challenges associated with urban planning, housing and environmental sustainability. Daisi’s unique perspective and blend of experience as an Architect and Town Planner gives him an unparalleled and unrivaled voice in communicating the bigger picture; what is wrong with the environment and how it can be fixed. He studied Architectural Technology at Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), bagged PGD in Urban & Regional Planning and Masters in Urban & Regional Planning at the Lagos State University (LASU). Town Planner Daisi Oso began his career as an Architect in Federal Housing Authority (FHA), FESTAC-Lagos, and later worked in various capacities as project supervisor, project coordinator and project director for a wide array of construction projects in the built environment. He made distinct, excellent, innovative and unique contributions as Assistant General Manager at Drain Ducks-a Lagos State quasi-government organization saddled with responsibility of managing flood in Lagos State, where he worked for 10 years using his professional experience as an Architect and Town Planner to solve perennial problems of flooding in Lagos State before he voluntarily resigned to contest for the position of Vice Chairman Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Area. His foray into politics began in 1983 as a member of the youth wing of Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN). 10 years after, he was elected as the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP), and later became the Acting State Chairman of Lagos State SDP. In 2011, Daisi was elected as the Executive Vice Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government under the platform of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and got re-elected in 2017 when the Party metamorphosed to All Progressives Congress (APC). In his capacity as Vice Chairman, he doubled as the Chairman Board of Trustees (BOT) of Lagos State Association of Council Vice Chairmen (LASACVIC) up to the time he was appointed as General Manager Lagos State Planning and Environmental Monitoring Agency (LASPEMA). He is a staunch promoter of Mr. Governor’s T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda and a strong advocate of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 11)-Make cities and human settlements inclusive safe, resilient and sustainable

Ebenezer M. Omejalile Co-Founder/ Chief Operating Officer Advocates For Children and Vulnerable Persons Network (ACVPN). Founder Centre for Community Youths Advocacy. Sharon Ayewale is an accountant by training and education. Her strong passion to help people achieve and fulfill their life’s goals and hidden potentials gave birth to Treasures of the Mind, an inspiration radio show and TOTMind foundation, an organization geared towards developing adults across the globe. She is currently the founder of TOTMind Foundations and host of the inspirational Treasures of the Mind Show on the radio and social media platforms in Nigeria. As a member of the Board of Trustee of Advocate for Children and Vulnerable Persons Nigeria (ACVPN), & in partnership with the Nigerian Police, Sharon has been instrumental in life-saving initiatives in the last 3 years that ensures safety of children, young adults and widows, prevention of child abuse and women trafficking. In addition to her role in TOTMind foundation, Sharon currently serves as the CEO and Managing Director of Bits Logistics Services Limited, a Transportation and Logistics company in Lagos, Nigeria. As a Certified Coach, her experience in mentoring and coaching is a unique attribute that both colleagues and employees believe have proven very valuable to them over the course of severally years of their interaction. Sharon loves God and her family dearly. She enjoys watching science fiction movies and taking short walks in the evening.
